Crusades of Cub n Pup: 1.1.11 Happy New Year!!!

So....its a brand new year and a fresh start for many amazing things I am planning this year. The past three years have been hard for me. Moving to Atlanta with out knowing many people I could trust made me home sick. And the few people I have befriended, turned out to be flakes, then a few others obnoxious ones I want gone. I lived in Tampa for five years and made some life long friends and I miss them all. Some of them grew apart and others I am surprised by how close we got. Also, I miss the beach, its my favorite place on earth....any sunny warm amazing beach, its my spot. So this year I plan to visit Tampa, Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale as many times as I can.

One of the things I am going to hit the ground running, getting back to the gym. For the past two months I haven't been to the gym, I even made the Cub join, thinking he would help me motivate me and it back fired. My search for the perfect gym partner still continues.....maybe its just me who needs to motivate myself. Another is get closer to my parents, for years I have tried to push them away from me, but the harder I try the more they continue to call for me. I saw them during Thanksgiving and they are getting old, I stare into there eyes and I see the love they have for me, so I have no idea why I have been a bad son. Thanksgiving for me didn't go the way I wanted it to go, so I have to make it up to my parents this Thanksgiving, I think its time to head back home for T-DAY.

Another, thing I am going to work on is school and career. I went to architecture school for so many years and worked in firms for six years and I got burned out. I want to go back to school, I want to do graphic design. I have freelance in it and had amazing results and pay. So this is the year where I am going to focus getting back to school and getting my degree. One of the things I am proud to accomplish from last year, was getting all my student loans current and paying off a few. The current job I have is awesome, I have a lot of liberties and benefits buts its not what I want to do as a long term career.

Another thing I want to do this year is plant bad ass garden! Last year the cub and I went nuts buying plants and veggies for a potted garden, cause of little hummingbird friends were buzzing around. So this year I am going to dedicate to grow my veggie and strawberry garden bigger and better.

Finally, I want the Cub and I to go out more and discover fun new places. This is the year of the Cub and Pup Crusades around the world....or at least the south eastern states LOL! I am taking the Cub to Disney, is first on my list!
